As SOSV\u2019s Creative Director, Norm Amandi is tasked with highlighting the great work of our programs, our startups, our entrepreneurs and the ecosystems we build globally. He is responsible for the creation of SOSV\u2019s Youtube series, which is dedicated to introducing VCs to the entrepreneurial community.<\/p>\n

Norm Amandi is a Daytime Emmy-nominated executive producer, writer, and documentary filmmaker with credits on a wide variety of shows and networks \u2013 from Discovery\u2019s Shark Week to shows on VH1, the CW, E!, CNBC, and, most recently, as the creator of \u201cPrairie Dog Manor\u201d for Nat Geo Wild and Disney+.<\/p>\n

The recipient of an Austrian Fulbright Grant, a graduate of Williams College and USC\u2019s Film Production MFA Program, Norm has been a finalist for the Sundance and Film Independent screenwriting labs. He also wrote a feature script about Buckminster Fuller which won a fellowship from the Sloan Foundation.<\/p>\n

Born and raised in the New England woods without running water, electricity, or television, Norman now has all three, and has even been on TV \u2013 doing so well on Wheel of Fortune that Pat Sajak proclaimed, \u201cNorm is living proof that electricity is way overrated.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
