She\u2019s motivated by the belief that sustainable, nourishing food, drink, and living environments should be the norm \u2013 not the exception \u2013 and focuses on backing companies tackling real-world challenges in food, agriculture, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining SOSV, Carrie worked in management and brand strategy consulting, partnering with family-run businesses, startups, private equity portfolios, and global brands across the food, beverage, and lifestyle sectors. Her work focused on helping purpose-driven companies build impactful, mission-led brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally from South Africa, Carrie grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and regenerative farmers, inspiring her early interest in sustainable, low-carbon solutions and the importance of making them widely accessible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She holds a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Business from the University of Edinburgh and a Master\u2019s from Imperial College London.
